In 2002 many preliminary investigations finally concluded in a hassium experiment. Though the evaluation of all data is not finished yet, first results can be found in the GSI Scientific Reports 2002.

These reports are available on the websites of GSI, but can be downloaded here, too. It should be noted, that the reports found on this website may have a better quality than pdf-files from the official GSI-website because of technical reasons (the author has no influence on the conversions which are done with the reports, unfortunately).
